Welcome to City Grill (“City Grill,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website at citygrillnj.com (the “Site”), our online ordering, delivery, pickup, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1) Eligibility & Use
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services.
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations (including all New Jersey laws and regulations).
2) Accounts
Creating an account is optional. If you register, you’re responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current information and to update it as needed.
3) Ordering, Pricing, & Payments
Availability. Menu items, prices, and availability may change without notice. Photos are for illustration.
Pricing & Taxes. Prices are shown before taxes, fees, and gratuities. Applicable New Jersey sales taxes and any service/delivery fees will be added at checkout.
Payment Processing. We may use third-party payment processors. By submitting a payment, you authorize charges to your selected payment method. We do not control and are not liable for third-party processor errors.
Order Confirmation. You’ll receive an order confirmation (on-screen and/or email/SMS). This is an acknowledgment we received your order—not acceptance. We may accept, modify, or cancel orders in our discretion (e.g., item out of stock, pricing error).
4) Pickup & Delivery
Pickup. Bring your order confirmation and ID if requested. We may hold pickup orders for a reasonable window; unclaimed orders may be discarded without refund.
Direct Delivery. We offer delivery directly from City Grill within designated areas. Delivery fees, minimums, and timing vary. Delivery ETAs are estimates, not guarantees. You must provide accurate delivery information and be available to receive the order; inability to deliver due to inaccurate info or inability to reach you may result in a nonrefundable cancellation.
No Alcohol Delivery. We do not sell or deliver alcohol.
5) Modifications, Substitutions & Allergen Notice
Ingredients & Substitutions. We try to honor requests but cannot guarantee all modifications.
Allergens. Our kitchen handles common allergens (e.g., dairy, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, gluten). We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Please inform us of allergies; you are responsible for deciding whether an item is appropriate for you.
6) Cancellations, Refunds & Credits
All Sales Final. No refunds.
Cancellation Requests. Contact us ASAP at 201-330-0580 or unioncitygrill@gmail.com with your order number. If preparation has not started, we may, at our discretion, cancel the order; otherwise, the order will be final.
Order Issues. For incorrect or missing items, contact us promptly with your order number and details. Resolutions (e.g., replacement or store credit) are provided at our sole discretion.
7) Promotions, Loyalty & Gift Cards
Promotions. Promo codes, specials, and loyalty rewards are subject to terms, limited timeframes, and availability. We may modify or end promotions at any time.
Gift Cards. City Grill gift cards are redeemable only for eligible purchases and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Treat gift cards like cash; lost or stolen cards may not be replaced. Additional terms may apply at purchase.
8) User Content & Reviews
If you post, submit, or share reviews, photos, or other content (“User Content”), you grant City Grill a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Services and our business.
You represent that you own or have rights to your User Content, and that it is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe any third-party rights. We may remove or refuse any User Content at our discretion.
9) Intellectual Property
The Site and its content (including logos, graphics, text, menus, photos, and software) are owned by City Grill or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
10) Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
Violate any law or regulation;
Misrepresent your identity or age;
Interfere with the security or functionality of the Services;
Use robots, scrapers, or similar tools to extract data without permission;
Upload or transmit malware;
Reverse engineer or attempt to access the Services’ source code (except as permitted by law).
11) Communications (Email & SMS)
Email. By providing your email, you consent to receive transactional and, if you opt in, marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
SMS/Text (Opt-In). If you opt in, you consent to receive automated texts about orders, offers, and updates. Message & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
12) Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information.
13) Third-Party Links & Services
The Services may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
14) Accessibility

15) Disclaimers
“AS IS.” The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied (including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement).
No Guarantee. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
16) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, City Grill and its owners, employees, affiliates, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the order giving rise to the claim, if any.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; those limitations may not apply to you.
17) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless City Grill and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.
18) Governing Law; Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Hudson County, New Jersey for any disputes.
19) Changes to the Services or Terms
We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on the Site with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
20) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law).
